Scouts : Community Challenge: Scout Group raises more than 1700 rials for handicapped children

One of the promises all Scouts make when they are first enrolled into the Scouting movement is to help other people. Over the last three months about 80 British Groups Abroad Scouts in Muscat, aged between 6 and 16, based at the British School Muscat, have done exactly this by raising 1733.000 rials for the National Association for Handicapped Children’s centre in Azaiba.

Scouts : Internet Challenge Evening

On Monday the 21st January, instead of a regular meeting, our Scouts took part in an exciting new concept of a “virtual” troop meeting, which gained many of them their Scout IT badge, stage 1. The Scouts took part in an Internet challenge from home and working in patrols using an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client supplied (and monitored) by ScoutLink

Scouts : Centenary Camp - Nov 2007
